Hello! Today I'm going to talk about Dmitri Mendeleev, the creator of the periodic table.Dmitri Mendeleev was a Russian chemistry, collector and photographer. He was born in Siberia and he was the youngest of seventeen siblings. His passion with the science came from a chemistry of the glass factory that handled his family. When the glass factory was burned his family moved to Moscow, so he could go to college. But his siberian origin closed the doors in the University of Moscow and Saint Petersburg, he joined the Pedagogic Institute of Saint Petersburg. He worked as a proffesor, principal and advisor of the Minister of Finance. In Russia is considered as one of the most important person in the russian renaissance, because of his contribucion in differents field of science and the education of an entire generation of russian scientifics.
Maybe the most interesting about him was the fact that he was able to predict the discover of new elements, when he create his own version of the periodic table. He was about to received the nobel prize, but an old quarrel with one of his collegues stop this.
